Boil water and then cool it to approximately 80°C (176°F) – too hot water will strip the matcha of its delicate aroma and nutritional value. Pour in about 60–80 ml of water and, using a bamboo whisk ( chasen ), whisk the matcha vigorously, making M-shaped or W-shaped movements, until a light foam forms. Drink the prepared matcha immediately, savoring its flavor, aroma, and the tranquility that each cup brings.
