Matcha Pear Spritz

Level: very easy
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon premium matcha
- 60 ml hot water
- 100 ml 100% pear juice (preferably fresh or pressed)
- 150 ml of sparkling/slightly carbonated water
- 4–5 ice cubes
- a slice of pear for decoration
- optional: 1 teaspoon of honey or agave syrup
Preparation:
1️⃣ Prepare matcha
- Pour the matcha into a bowl.
- Add 60 ml of hot (but not boiling) water.
- Beat with a chasen or a frother until smooth, light foam forms.
2️⃣ Build a Drink
- Pour ice cubes into a tall glass.
- Pour in the pear juice.
- Add sparkling water.
- Finally, gently add the whipped matcha to maintain the layered effect.
3️⃣ Decoration
- Add a pear slice to the rim of the glass.
- Optionally, sweeten with honey if you want a more dessert-like flavor.
