Matcha and white chocolate cookies

Buttery, soft, and bursting with flavor, these matcha and white chocolate cookies are an absolute hit.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g butter, room temperature
  • 150 g brown sugar

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 280 g wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of matcha
  • 100–150 g white chocolate pieces

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C .
  2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy (with a mixer).
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mix briefly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together: flour, baking powder and matcha (be sure to sift the matcha!).
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix with a spatula.
  6. Finally, add the white chocolate.
  7. Form walnut-sized balls and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes – the edges should be lightly golden.
